Covid19 v Joe Public

@FonterraFarmer
A, The Guardian is printed bog roll ,and
B, Hipkins only highlights the level of intelligence in our government.
I suspect there is a hidden backlash coming up with the current governments handling of this Delta variant of Covid as this time they had plenty of warning of it and it's consequences and failed to adapt accordingly, not forgetting that this outbreak is almost certainly linked to the person from the UN that the government let in from Fiji.
In times like this rules and regulations can't be bent or seen as optional much like they did by letting in the Australian rugby team.
With any luck we shouldn't have to wait long to see Jacinda Ardern do her Lady Macbeth impression, Scene 5 Act1.

I'm hearing that the teens and 20s are buying negative lateral flow tests, to gain entrance to group events. Price quoted was £20.
Apparently this happened at Boardmasters in Newquay, Cornwall, and more recently at the young farmers indoor after-show shindig at Okehampton., Devon.

North Cornwall / West Devon now has 72 hot spot clusters of Cov 19 - or so I was told last night. The farmer's daughter and d in law both contracted CV19 at Okey, and were parcelled off to isolate in a mobile home. This to protect the rest of the family on a large dairy farm.

And we're heaving with emmets.

Ffs, Facebook links are shite.😡
They work if (I) click the link you probably have to be logged in to FB.
She doesn't come over as someone you could trust, though as a Doctor suddenly questioned on national TV shouldn't read too much into that.
Over here some have held Australia and NZ up as examples of how we should have dealt with CV but my feeling is eventually everywhere will have a similar outcome. Being isolated geographically has bought some time but even if all travel were stopped it will still sneak in one way or another on imported items or something.
The vaccines are nowhere near as effective as was touted and apparently any protection starts to diminish in a matter of weeks - to my mind once started with them they are committing to at least annual boosters for life whereas younger people are probably better off getting the real thing often with only mild ill effect - and they will have a broader immunity for years if not for life.

That's pretty much what I'm thinking..
It's bizarre that a government that couldn't run a corner dairy or fish and chip shop is deemed to be competent to organise a hard and fast disease management strategy and vaccination program.
I'm currently conflicted with the anti vaxers and the pro vaccine nazi's..
And to top it off I've had a couple of e-mails from LinkedIn stating I've breach their standards with my posts, which is really hypocritical considering to only person I follow is Justin Trudeau, ffs.😆😆😆

I would love to know what my former (vet) neighbour now back in Victoria has to say, he is an old fashioned no wurries she'll be right Aussie not one of the strange snowflakey ones they have been breeding lately.
