Lucy Letby

I'd put her in a cage and drive her around the town
They should be put in some sort of cage/pod and wheeled into court to hear the sentencing and impact statements
The impact statements are heartbreaking to read
This is Baby G (warning upsetting to read)
A statement is now being read by Phillip Astbury KC on behalf of the father of baby G, a baby girl who Letby tried to kill in September 2015.
The father of baby G says that she needs substantial care and her mother only gets about two hours' sleep a night.
She was left severely disabled as a result of Letby's attacks. The child is registered as blind, nil by mouth, and has cerebral palsy and progressive scoliosis (spinal curvature). She needs a spinal operation but there is concern that she may not survive the surgery.
Baby G's parents say: "What if she outlives us? Who will care for her then?
"Her condition affects every aspect of our lives... We see other families and their children fishing... playing football... other things we can't do."
"She will never have a sleepover, go to high school, have a boyfriend, get married".

I know a midwife who works there and they are all very shocked and sad, it somehow seems different now the case is over.
"We delivered those babies"

Could this be a miscarriage of justice🤔?
All the evidence from doctors who worked there was against her on what was a despicable crime. Surely too much of a coincidence that she was at each loss etc.

Or is it lawyers trying to make a name for themselves to overturn such huge conviction, by bringing out medical opinions. Who I wonder is funding them?

Is it a coincidence that infant fatalities have, dropped or perhaps stopped at that hospital once she was not there?

According to a. Freedom of information question, there were 8 neonatal deaths in 2015, 5 in 2016 followed by just one 2019 in the years 2017-2020. Coincidence seems a bit unlikely 🫤

its a tricky one ,having read alot of the trial .1year long ,took a month for the jury to decide .there was very little or non existant evidence to prove /disprove any wrong doing ,it seemed to me she was found guilty by coincidence ,
now she maybe guilty as feck ,but the conviction is shaky at best

One of the medical experts is Neena Modi, ex head of the RCPCH (the royal college that Mrs SJY is a member of). Must be fairly persuasive evidence of innocence (or rather lack of evidence of guilt) for folks like that to be involved…

Possible answers to this are included in this article.

Listening to the panel of experts yesterday, the indication I got was of malpractise and negligence by the hospital rather than any single person.
David Davies and Peter Hitchens have been on this trajectory since Letby's trial..
