Chris Packham sues men for libel over fraud claims

The broadcaster takes action over articles claiming he defrauded people into donating to a charity.

Am I correct in thinking that this means that the judge agrees that potentially the claims are libelous, but in order for them to be so they have to be false claims since you can't libel someone wjth the truth?

So when it comes to trial , if he loses, Mr packham has admitted his integrity and reputation will lie in tatters.

Sooner the better.it's a shame he can't be prosecuted for libel against an industry.
