The main road through a Somerset village was blocked in both directions for several hours after a lorry became 'wedged'.

The incident was captured on film on the A39 Main Street in Walton yesterday afternoon this afternoon (October 30).

This led to 'heavy traffic' building in the village after the lorry got stuck in the village outside the Holy Trinity Church.

Nope tack sheep on us don’t seem to have started the wanderlust for home yet plus gone to town on the twine fencing repairs this year

Saw it on the news. A lad was there filling his carrier bag with them. No-one was stopping him! No vegans lined up shouting about cruelty and wanting to liberate them, or bear witness to them either!
