Climate change...

Any lie is allowed and cannot be challenged if it furthers the agenda.
Agenda's tend to be politically motivated primarily with a financial motive with the cost placed on those who can least afford it and imposed by those who think they are exempt.
That said a lie is a lie, an untruth a deliberate intention to fraudulently deceive a person or group for ones advantage.
That said only a fool and or idiot lies in reply to a person who knows the truth before the question asked or lie replied...

Any lie is allowed and cannot be challenged if it furthers the agenda.
Much like a consensus, if the majority believe it that still doesn't make it true, everyone with a sound argument has the right to challenge it if even if just one individual can prove it false.
Only a coward fears the truth, only an idiot believes their own lies and only fools folllow illogical extremists activists, protesters, terrorists or politicians.

Heat pumps by far the most inefficient method off heating, ffs dry firewood and light a fire..

I've been watching a German guy on youtube travelling east on a (large) electric power motorbike.
I was quite surprised he got permission to ride alone through Iran and as you would expect people were hugely friendly and interested plus falling over themselves to feed him and help keep it charged.
Mind it does at least 300km on full charge.
Then he got into Pakistan and authorities were very twitchy he had to travel in convoy with a camper van (from UK) and police front and rear.
It did not look much fun with long stretches of road utter chaos with masses of people encroaching from both sides literally living on the 'pavement'.
Then in Northern Pakistan he was allowed on his way and it was surprisingly nice not unlike parts of the Alps with reasonably good roads again.

Really?
Not here it wasn't. Cold spring in the NE when Northerly air flow meant cloud every day even if it was dry. It was further West that got the warmth, similarly July/August were nothing flash. Had one hot week at the end of June and another in early Sep. I doubt "summer" got much above 21 or 2c each day

Their data is seriously compromised by Urban heat Island effect, highest temperatures are almost always central london and airport runway sites.
They allow I believe 0.2C adjustment for such sites but it will often be well over 2C warmer night and day.
Even more rural sites have been affected by land use changes such as less pasture and more arable likely to be bare ground or ripened/harvested.
There's general neglect of official sites so bushes and uncut grass encroach and create more sheltered conditions - more very localised additional warming.
