The Delta variant seems to be a wee bit trickier and when thing go wrong she deligated and throws people under the bus....
The reality is just about everything Ardern is involved in is turning to shite, if the BBC did it's job right over the last 5 years then you would realise how far backwards we as a country have gone ....🙄

80% allegedly vaccinated with the first shot in the Auckland region where Delta is spreading and no cases for the rest of the country with much lower vaccination rates.
No admission that the government brought in the Delta strain via Fiji/UN ....
And virtually every journalist that questioned the governments strategy or been critical of it had been sacked from any media outlet or has "retired" that has any connections to the government like Radio NZ and TVNZ....

That would suggest virus have brains and can self determine their future. Virus mutates, it has no control over this, some mutations may stop vaccines being effective. So while the original form gets controlled and fades away the mutated version carries on. It happens with the flu and flu vaccine.

Heard from Dad's cousin (darn sarf) yesterday that his other cousin (W Mids) 's son and DiL have got Covid. Not desperately ill but then they're both fit and well normally. Both early 40s and double jabbed. Been eating out with friends🙄 and all 4 have come down with it, looks like from the restaurant:sick: Only 2 months ago this W Mids cousin was touring the country and wanted to visit some rellies. Didn't think it was a problem to be out and about🙄 Mum politely said thanks, but no thanks.😷 This particular cousin is keeping quiet atm:oops:

While I appreciate concerns for the safety/efficacy of the vaccine can anyone explain why the Covid-19 vaccines will cause such an ongoing spread of disease but the likes of the polio and rubella vaccines do not?

We accept the need to vaccinate livestock (including pets) against viral diseases even if the vaccines are not 100% effective and need regular boosters, despite the cost implications, because they damp down the symptoms and spread even if they do not totally eradicate the disease.


Roughly half of this list of vaccines are for viral diseases. (I notice there is no mention of the HPV vaccine in the first list)

Most people have practically forgotten about it now here, rarely mentioned.
About 1 in 10 might wear a mask in shops, mainly older people could have other issues going on.
We are doing absurd numbers of tests far more than any other country which makes the 'cases' figure look worse than it is, the great majority of those are not in any way ill.
Scotland continues to do some kind of virtue signalling with different rules almost as if to show they can.
A recent survey found over 90% have antibodies from vx or having had it, in other words it's effectively over.
